After a hugely entertaining Round One of the Armagh GAA #WinToStayIn Skills Challenge we head into the second round of skills!
This time, the challenge for the remaining contestants is to get as many fist passes in 30 seconds as possible!
Game 7 – Jemar Hall vs Eve Lavery
An extremely close contest to kick start round two, Forkhill’s Jemar Hall just scraped through to round three.
Hall shaded the contest with 32 hand passes in 30 seconds, defeating Ballyhegan’s Eve Lavery by a single fist pass.

Game 8 – Blaine Hughes vs Shea Magill
The clash of the goalkeepers pinned Blaine Hughes against Shea Magill. Hughes demonstrated his accuracy and range of skills by scoring a point with a football before doing likewise with a sliother and hurling stick.
Hughes went on to win the challenge, knocking out Magill with 43 fist passes in the time provided, beating Magill’s 34.

Game 9 – Eoghan McDonnell vs Diarmaid O’Rourke
Still rocking the retro Mullaghbawn jersey from round one, McDonnell continued to form that got in through to this round.
Competing against the youngest competitor, McDonnell did complete the skill more times than his opponent, but was disqualified, seeing O’Rourke through to the next round.
Game 10 – Ross Finn vs Brian Mallon
A real tight contest, Tir na nOg’s Brian Mallon pushed Finn all the way but just didn’t have enough to get over the line.
Finn executed 42 hand passes in the time provided to beat Mallon’s effort of 39, with the Granemore defender making his way to the third round.

Game 11 – Nicole McKenna vs Winnie the Pooh
The star of the first round, Winnie the Pooh me his match in Armagh LGFA player Nicole McKenna in round two.
The pair completed the challenge 31 times seeing the first draw of the competition and a replay will be needed to settle the tie.

Game 12 – John Toal vs Shauna Grey
Shauna Grey once again mixed up her Skills Challenge video with her Dancing with the Stars audition tape, but was all business when completing the challenge.
Grey complete the Skills Challenge 35 times in the 30 seconds provided, defeating Keady’s John Toal who managed 30.

This sees Diarmaid O’Rourke, Blaine Hughes, Jemar Hall, Ross Finn and Shauna Grey make their way to the third round of the #WinToStayIn Skills Challenge.
The remaining games (1-6) of round two will be posted by Armagh GAA on Easter Monday!
