It has been confirmed that the remaining rounds of the National Football League will be played behind closed doors.
An official email from Croke Park outlined that both round six and round seven of the leagues will be played with no spectators.
Armagh’s tie this weekend against Roscommon will be shown live on RTE.
The email read:
“Attendances at Allianz League Games All Allianz League games in both the 26 and 6 Counties will be played behind closed doors.
This means only essential personnel should be in attendance.
A further communication on Championship attendances will be issued once there is clarity from Government’s both North and South“.
Armagh GAA expressed their disappointment of the announcement, but this situation was to be expected.
Armagh GAA added: “We are extremely disappointed that our loyal and much-valued supporters are not permitted to be in attendance for the remaining Allianz League games.
We ask all our members to continue to support our teams and wear your county colours with pride.
This weekend’s Allianz League game on Saturday will be broadcast live on RTE, and the game against Clare on Saturday 24 October will be streamed live on GAAGO.
Please continue to follow the public health guidance with regards Covid-19″.
