Ulster GAA have confirmed this evening that the Ulster Minor Football Championship will go ahead later this month.
The games were scheduled much earlier in the year before COVID-19 restrictions meant that action was suspended.
The competition was again halted in late October just days before the opening round was due to take place.
Now it has been confirmed that all the opening round games will go ahead on Sunday the 20th of December.
Following the same draw as the Senior Championship, Armagh are set to face off with Derry in the quarter final.
Ciaran McKeever’s under 17 side will travel to the Oak Leaf County with the game slotted in for Owenbeg.
These sides met in the opening round of the Ulster Championship last season, with Derry capturing an away win, 1-5 to 0-4.
This game will be streamed live on PaircTV.
