The date, time and venue for the 2020 Ulster Ladies Football Final between Armagh and Monaghan has been confirmed.
Ronan Murphy’s Armagh side will have to travel the short distance to Clones to take on their hosts in the Farney County.
The game will take place on Saturday the 12th of December with a throw-in time of 1.30pm, just two weeks after Armagh were knocked out of the All-Ireland series.
Armagh were emphatic victors over their rivals Tyrone in the Ulster semi-final back in mid-October, winning 4-14 to 1-10.
The Orchard County have performed heroically since action restarted post the COVID-19 lockdown and will hope to secure some silverware to see the year out.
They defeated both Tyrone and Mayo on their way to the All-Ireland semi-final and pushed Dublin all the way in a terrific game.
Monaghan on the other hand lost out on a possible final four spot with a 2-13 to 3-9 defeat to Galway having already overcame Tipperary 0-17 to 2-10.
This will be Armagh’s third Ulster Final appearance in as many years and last season they saw off Monaghan to reach the decider.
Armagh held home advantage in their 2019 clash and stormed to an awesome victory, winning 5-14 to 1-12 in the end.
