Camogie Championship Draw details
The draws for the 2021 Senior, Intermediate and Junior Camogie Championships took place at a county board meeting on Thursday night.
17 teams will be involved, with nine playing at Senior level, five in the Intermediate and three taking part in a round robin style Junior Championship.
Dates, times and venues are to follow but for now, teams will be looking forward to getting back out on the field and prepare for the upcoming championships.
Senior Championship
The preliminary round will be a repeat of last season’s opener as Keady take on Tullysaran, while champions Ballymacnab await the winners in the quarter final.
Tullysaran won the quarter final clash last season and faced the Nab in the semi-final, which the girls in maroon and white won on their way to claiming two in a row.
Last year’s beaten finalists Granemore will meet the 2020 Intermediate Champions Aghagallon in the quarter final.
Middletown reached the last four last season and must defeat Madden if they are to repeat the feat while An Port Mor will take on Crossmaglen in the last quarter final.

Intermediate Championship
St Brigid’s reached the Intermediate decider in 2020 but fell at the final hurdle against Aghagallon.
They have been drawn in the semi-finals against the winner of Derrymacash and Cullyhanna, who meet in the only quarter final clash.
Derrynoose claimed the Junior Championship title in 2020 and will now ply their trade in the division above. They face the challenge of Culloville in the other semi-final.

Junior Championship
Last seasons Junior Championship was contested by two teams, with Derrynoose seeing off Mullaghbawn in the decider.
Three teams will compete in the Junior Championship in 2021 including Mullaghbawn, Killeavy and Aghagallon 2nd’s.
The Junior Championship will be played in a round robin style between the three sides, with further details on the layout to be confirmed soon.
