Division 2A – St Paul’s 2-12 Tullysaran 0-13
A depleted Tullysaran saw their chances of promotion from Division 2A end on Friday as they lost to St Paul’s by five.
The home side raced into a six-point lead before Tullysaran halved the deficit. Mark McKeever and Eddie Mallon (2) raising the white flags.
The sides traded scores with Gavin (2) and James Conlon matching St Paul’s efforts. The Lurgan men lead by a goal at the break, 1-6 to 0-6.

Shane McConville’s side opened the scoring, but Tullysaran hit back with three on the trot to reduce the gap to on.
The trailing side were reduced to 14 men and conceded a goal shortly after when the referee deemed the ball had crossed the line despite Tullysaran’s disputes.
Tullysaran did hit back with four further points through Mallon, Joe Fanthorpe and Gavin Conlon, but they didn’t do enough to sufficiently narrow the margin.
Elsewhere in the top tier of the Intermediate league, St Peter’s saw off Whitecross 3-14 to 1-9.

Division 2B
Collegeland caused one of the shocks of the weekend when they handed Tir na nOg only their second loss of the season.
Two goals from Brian McGeary and Jason Kelly were the crucial match-winning scores as the away side won 2-8 to 1-8.
Belleek returned to the top of Division 2B as they stretched their unbeaten run to 12 games in a row.
Things weren’t looking great at the interval as hosts Ballyhegan held a slender one-point lead. 0-5 to 0-4.

A second half goal from Drew McVerry made all the difference and Belleek edged through by four. 1-9 to 0-8.
Clonmore remain hopeful of retaining their status as they picked up two-points at home to Keady on Friday.
Sean Quigley and Caolan Donaghy struck the net while two late Caolan Cunningham points secured a 2-7 to 0-10 win.
Crossmaglen IIs and Forkhill couldn’t be separated on Friday evening, finishing level on 2-10 each.
