It all comes down to the final day for Armagh Harps and Killeavy as they meet tonight to decide the Division 1A league title.
Both sides are currently tied at the top of the table with 18 point apiece. Killeavy must win as the Harps have the head-to-head advantage while a draw would do for the hosts.
The sides have met three times in recent years, with Benny O’Kane’s men shading the most recent encounter.
Killeavy held the upper hand in last years clash while they also won the most recent championship meeting of 2020.
2022: Killeavy 2-9 Harps 3-8 (Division 1A League)
It may have not seemed as crucial at the time but this was a huge two point picked up by the Harps, away from home.
On an extremely wet evening, the sides were all square at the interval 1-4 apiece. Conor Magennis claimed Killeavy’s goal while Caolan McQuaid hit the net for the visitors.
Two second half goals helped the Harps earn victory, with Minnie McShane having a hand in both. James McCoy slotted home a penalty while Tom O’Kane grabbed the third.
Paul Quinn powered home a late three-pointer, but Killeavy couldn’t do enough in the final moments to salvage something.

2021: Killeavy 1-7 Harps 1-6 (Division 1A League)
Last year, it was at the other end of the table that Killeavy were most concerned about as this win pulled them out of the relegation zone.
The Harps were still vying for the title at the time but defeat left them three points off the league leaders at the time Dromintee.
Dromintee eventually went on to win the league title. It came down to the final day and the Harps finished one point adrift.

2020: Killeavy 0-17 Harps 0-9 (SFC Quarter Final)
The most recent championship meeting between the pair, having also clashed in the group stages of the 2018 campaign.
The Harps won that day, but it was Killeavy’s turn in the Athletic Grounds in 2020 as they reached the last four.
Killeavy shot into an early 6-1 lead, but the Harps clawed their way back into contention. By half time the gap was just two, 8-6.
Killeavy pushed on and dominated the second period only for their season to end against Crossmaglen the following day out.
