Intermediate Championship Top Scorers – Semi Finals

We’re now down to the final two in the Intermediate Championship as St Paul’s take on Shane O’Neill’s in a few weeks’ time.

After last weekends two semi-final clashes, there were a number of changes to the top scorers chart for the Intermediate Championship.

Despite losing at the quarter-final stage against Tullysaran, Sean McCreesh of Belleek remains the top scorer.

He fired over a personal haul of 0-26 in his three outings against Forkhill (twice) and Tullysaran.

Paul O’Rourke skips to second place having given an incredible performance against St Paul’s last weekend.

O’Rourke hardly put a foot wrong as he led his side back to the Intermediate decider for the first time since 2019.

His two goals were two of the highlights of the game, including his half-volley soccer-style finish in the first half.

The 2019 club All-Star finished the game with 2-6 bringing his championship tally to 3-11 across three games.

In third position is Culloville prospect Dara Quinn, who had another excellent outing last Saturday night.

The youngster top scored for Culloville with 0-6 and battled extremely hard to keep them ticking over in the second half.

Quinn hit the net against Collegeland in the quarter final and finished his campaign with a total of 1-16.
