It’s been all one-way traffic in recent meetings between Armagh and Monaghan, in favour of the Orchard County.
Armagh have claimed victory in all three of the recent meetings, which all took place last season.
They met in three competitions, the National League, the Ulster Championship and the All-Ireland series.
2022: Monaghan 0-4 Armagh 2-12 (All-Ireland R2)
Armagh drew with All-Ireland champions Meath in the first round, 0-9 apiece, so they needed to win to make the last eight.
Due to score difference, this result saw Armagh finish second behind the Royals. But they lost out to Kerry in the All-Ireland quarter-final.
Niamh Coleman and Blaithin Mackin netted in the opening half to put Armagh ahead 2-9 to 0-4 at half time.
The Coleman finished with 1-1, while Aimee Mackin and Kelly Mallon both chipped in with 0-4 apiece.

2022: Monaghan 0-5 Armagh 5-21 (USFC semi-final)
Armagh hammered Monaghan at Clones on their way to completing a three in a row of Ulster titles.
It was desperately one sided and this clash was Armagh’s biggest win over the Farney County in 2022.
An Aimee Mackin goal during the opening period saw the Orchard County storm into a 1-10 to 0-3 half time lead.
Mackin added another three-pointer, while Kelly Mallon (2) and Niamh Reel also added green flags in the second half.

2022: Monaghan 0-6 Armagh 0-13 (National Football league R3)
Armagh had already dealt with Tyrone and Cavan, so their place in the league semi-final was secured.
But they still continued their winning form and saw off Monaghan in the final round of the league group stages.
It was a slow burner of a game, and the sides were tied at the end of a low scoring first half, 0-4 to 0-4.
Aimee Mackin top scored with 0-4 as Armagh pushed on after the turnaround to win by seven-points in the end.
