Karl McKeegan has named his first Armagh team of the season as they open their league account tomorrow afternoon.
The hurlers head to Darver to take on Louth, a team they’ve met several times over the past few years.
McKeegan’s side lost out in their only competitive game this season so far, a McGurk Cup quarter-final against Antrim.
The Antrim native took over from Terrance ‘Sambo’ McNaughton and will hope for a good start to the league.
Starting line up
Fintan Woods will start between the sticks for Armagh. The Middletown man enjoyed a good club campaign, helping his side to their fourth senior title in a row.
Keady were on the losing side in the club final but still had a number of notable performances throughout the campaign.
Barry Shortt was one of them and he’s named at corner back. He’ll be beside the experienced Odhran Curry, who starts at full back.
Odhran McCann, who captained Sean Treacy’s to the Junior Championship crown last year, completes the last line of defence.

2022 Club Hurler of the Year and Armagh vice-captain Tiarnan Nevin starts at centre half back. Niall Lennon and Paudie Lappin will start on the wings.
Peadar McBride (Middletown) and Connor Renaghan (Keady) enjoyed good club championship campaigns. They form Armagh’s midfield pairing.
In the half forward line, Armagh captain and free taker Fionntan Donnelly will wear the number ten jersey.
Last seasons Player of the Year Shea Harvey lines out in the middle with Tiarnan O’Hare on the wing.

Youngster Sean Og McGuinness is set to make his debut after a glorious year in attack for Middletown.
The experienced heads of Eoin McGuinness and Danny Magee complete the full forward line.
McKeegan is down a few regulars, like the Gaffney brothers. But he has a strong subs bench to call upon if and when needed.
