Armagh were huge winners over old rivals Tyrone today in Healy Park Omagh, with 15-points the difference in the end.
Armagh have held the upper hand against their old foes in recent meetings and continued that trend today.
It’s been a magnificent start for the Orchard County in Division Two, with four wins in their first four games.

Their win over Tyrone sees them sit at the top of the table, with promotion to the top tier well within their grasp.

Armagh led from start to finish and were comfortably the better team, as demonstrated on the scoreboard.
Blaithin Mackin opened the scoring before sister Aimee doubled Armagh’s lead inside the first five minutes.
Aoife McCoy followed that up with the games first goal before Blaithin Mackin grabbed her second score.
Tyrone replied with two on the bounce, but Armagh shot back with a point from midfielder Niamh Coleman.
Aimee Mackin then slotted home from the penalty spot to extend the visitors lead to eight points.

Mackin rattled the net for the second time while Maeve Lennon and Kelly Mallon added scores to give Armagh a 3-6 to 1-4 half time lead.
Aimee Mackin got the scoreboard moving after the turnaround while Niamh Reel also notched a score.
Aimee Mackin then grabbed her third goal of the day, to stretch Armagh’s advantage to 11-points.
And Armagh weren’t for letting up, McCoy finished another goal chance before Coleman hit her second point.
