Division 1A – Killeavy 0-11 Crossmaglen 3-15
Three second half goals for Crossmaglen handed them an opening day win over Killeavy in the only Division 1A game of the weekend.
Ronan Fitzpatrick, Declan Stuttard and Daniel Cumiskey all netted after the turnaround to see Cross win by 13-points.
Killeavy opened the scoring through Ronan McGuinness before Cross replied through Jamie Clarke (free).
Scores from Stuttard, Stephen Morris and Fitzpatrick opened up a three-point advantage for the visitors.
McGuinness and Miceal McNamee closed the gap, but saw their scores cancelled out by Fitzpatrick and Pearse Blessing.
Killeavy registered the next four scores to take the lead. Niall Magennis, Callum O’Hare, McGuinness and Sean Boylan (free) all split the posts.
But the Rangers soon got back on level terms before the break through Patrick Finnegan, to see the score tied 0-7 apiece at half time.
Boylan edged Killeavy in front, but Cross took control of the contest, hitting 1-5 on the bounce.

Aaron Kernan, Clarke and Colin O’Connor raised white flags before O’Connor turned provider, playing through Fitzpatrick for the first goal of the game.
Boylan (free) and Cahir McKinney pulled two back for the hosts. But Cross pushed on through Clarke and another goal from Declan Stuttard.
Fitzpatrick traded scores with McGuinness (free) while Cross finished with a flurry. Morris slotted over another while Cumiskey struck a third and final goal.

Division 1B – Dromintee 1-12 Shane O’Neill’s 2-5
Shane O’Neill’s began their Division 1B league campaign with a four-point defeat away to Dromintee.
Two pointed frees gave Dromintee an early advantage before the Shane’s got off the mark with a well taken point.
Another Dromintee free restored their two-point lead but the Shane’s went ahead on the eighteenth minute when they registered their first three pointer of the game.
The home side who hit the next five scores, a goal from Oran Loughran, who finished with 1-5 and four points, to lead by six.
Two late first-half points saw the visitors trail by four at the break, 1-7 to 1-3.

The sides swapped points in the opening exchanges of the second half before another Dromintee free was cancelled out by a point from Shane O’Neill’s.
Minutes later the Camlough side raised their second green flag and at that stage trailed by just one.
Dromintee stretched their lead to two with their tenth point of the contest before the game was halted following a nasty injury to Shane’s midfielder Ryan McCabe.
On the restart Dromintee recorded a further two points before the final whistle to run out four point winners, 1-12 to 2-5.

Division 3B – Clady 0-14 O’Hanlon’s 1-11
Clady and O’Hanlon’s ended all square in the opening round of the Division 3B league campaign.
Micheal Savage opened the scoring before the visitors replied two on the trot to take the lead. Liam Doyle tapped over a free moments later to draw the game.
O’Hanlon’s added another three scores before Clady fought back with a point in the 20th minute through Kieran Connolly.
But Tony Bagnall’s O’Hanlon’s side stretched their lead with the game’s only goal, coming from Adam Canavan.

Mark McGivern raced forward for a home score, but O’Hanlon’s cancelled that out. Doyle pointed another free before Ryan Murphy narrowed the gap to three at half time. 1-6 to 0-6.
Two scores from Doyle and another from Connolly were matched scores from the opposition before Doyle brought it back to a two-point game.
The sides continued to trade scores before Murphy brought the margin back to one. Colm Savage stepped up to level the game, 1-10 to 0-13.
Doyle knocked over another to put Clady in front before O’Hanlon’s drew level late on through David Bagnall.
