Division 3A – Lissummon 2-9 Ballyhegan 0-12
Last year’s beaten Junior finalists Lissummon picked up their first win of the Division 3A campaign on home soil.
Goals win games and that was certainly the case for Seamus Loughran’s men, who claimed tow on the day.
Steven Matthews slotted home a penalty while Michael Robinson claimed their other three-pointer from open play.
Eire Og 4-4 Collegeland 2-11
Four goals from hosts Eire Og weren’t enough to capture victory over Collegeland, who earned a one-point win in Division 3A.
Ciaran Ryan claimed two goals while Marc Fegan and Ciaran Corey raised the other green flags for Eire Og.
Collegeland, in their first outing of the season, rattled off two goals from Shane Donnelly to win by two in the end.
Elsewhere, Clonmore overcame St Michael’s with six-points to spare away from home, winning 0-10 to 0-6.
Division 3B – Mullabrack 1-10 Clann Eireann II 2-14
Clann Eireann IIs picked up their first win of the season, seeing off hosts Mullabrack by seven-points.
Ethan McKenna and Niall O’Neill rattled the net for the Lurgan men in their first outing of the year.
Damien Corvan claimed Mullabrack’s only goal of the game as Hugh McSorley’s side lost for the second time this year.
Clady 0-12 An Port Mor 1-11
A goal from Cormac Kieran handed An Port Mor their second win off the campaign, although they had to battle for it.
It was a tight affair throughout with Gerard McGeown, Sean Toner and Colm Savage seeing their efforts cancelled out early on.
Kieran netted to put his side three ahead 20 minutes in, but the hosts fought back through Lorcan Carragher and Malachy McGeown to trail 1-4 to 0-6 at half time.
Malachy Savage levelled for Clady before Malachy McGeown nailed his 4th of the day to put his side ahead.
McGeown slotted over another from the dead ball while Colm Savage also scored, but An Port Mor got their noses ahead to win by two.
Elsewhere in Division 3B, a Caolan Flanagan goal handed Thomas Davis a 1-9 to 0-7 victory over Killeavy II.
