Division 2A – St Paul’s 3-7 St Patrick’s 4-15
Cullyhanna earned an 11-point win of St Paul’s on Friday to retain their place at the top of the Division 2A league table.
The visitors raced into a 4-1 with scores from Gary Mackin, Phelim Savage, Tony Donnelly and Gavan Duffy.
Cullyhanna stretched their lead with two goals in as many minutes through Padraig Conlon and Mackin.
Peadar Nash (2) and Aaron McCaughley claimed all of St Paul’s scores in the first half as they trailed 2-8 to 0-3.

Donnelly got Cullyhanna up and running after the turnaround, hitting 1-1 inside the first five minutes.
St Paul’s hit a purple patch, with two Antoin McParland goals and points from Nash and Darren Fox closing the gap.
St Patrick’s replied instantly, rattling off the next four points to stretch their lead to ten points once again.
The game finished with both teams raising green flags through Niall McCorry and Gavan Duffy.
Elsewhere in Division 2A, Wolfe Tones claimed their second win of the season, beating Tullysaran 1-10 to 0-11.

Division 2B – Forkhill 0-14 Middletown 0-10
Forkhill picked up their third win of the Division 2B league campaign as they saw of Middletown on Friday night.
The sides traded scores at the start of the game, with Chris McCann matching Ciaran Smith’s early point.
A Barry Shannon brace pushed the home sides into the lead, but Middletown fought back through Liam Woods and Sean Og McGuinness.
Cormac Toner, Eoghan Roe O’Neill and Owen Donaghy scored for Forkhill while McGuinness replied for the visitors.
O’Neill slashed over the final score of the opening period, with Forkhill ahead 0-7 to 0-4 at the break.
Toner, Shannon and Dara McGeough all registered scores as Forkhill stretched their lead to five-points.

McCann and McGuinness narrowed the gap to the minimum with two points apiece to leave a nervy final ten minutes.
O’Neill and Marcus McKeown settled things for Forkhill while McCann and Paudie Toner traded scores.
Micheal Keenan knocked over the final score of the game to give Forkhill a 14-10 victory and the two-points on offer.
Elsewhere in Division 2B, Whitecross suffered their second defeat of the season against Cross IIs, 1-8 to 4-3.
Derrynoose and Keady couldn’t be separated on Friday night, drawing 0-13 to 2-7. Keady and Cross II met on Sunday, with Keady earning a 0-14 to 2-6 win.
Annaghmore claimed an eye-catching win over Belleek to climb into joint-top, winning 2-12 to 2-7.
Connor Cullen and Matthew McNiece rattled the net for the winners while Drew McVerry nailed both goals for Belleek.
