Division 3A Round Up
Clonmore claimed promotion back to Division 2B on Friday evening with an eight-point victory over Lissummon.
It marked their ninth win from ten outings this season, and with their head-to-head advantage with Collegeland, their guaranteed top spot.
It’s a league title in the bag as well for Clonmore, with two games against Dorsey and Ballyhegan remaining.
A second half goal from Stefan Green ensured maximum points for the victors, who led for the majority of the game.
They carried a double score lead into the second half, Mark Treanor, Cahal Cunningham, James Grimley and John Grimley helping them to a 12-6 advantage.

Caolan Cunningham chipped in with three points after the turnaround, while Green claimed 1-1 for Clonmore.
The accuracy of Steven Matthews kept Lissummon in touch, but it wasn’t enough to get them something from the game with Clonmore winning 1-16 to 0-11.
Ballyhegan are well in the chase for that final promotion spot following their three-point win over Dorsey.
John Doherty rattled the net for Ballyhegan, and it was his goal that was the difference in the end, 1-12 to 1-9.
It ensures relegation for Dorsey to Division 3B for next season as they can’t reach Lissummon’s tally of seven points with three games left.
