The Junior Championship hot shots leaderboard has been updated following the playoff round of the competition.
There are only eight teams left in the running for the Sean Quinn Cup as the quarter-finals take place this weekend.
Ballyhegan put up the biggest score of the playoff round as they hammered Clady by 17-points, 5-15 to 1-10.
Killeavy IIs weren’t far behind as they racked up a huge total of 3-16. They also had the best defensive record of the weekend, holding Dorsey to 1-8.
James McCormack climbed to the top of our hot shot list as he put in another impressive performance.
McCormack top scored for Ballyhegan with 1-7 and has accumulated an eye-catching 4-19 in four games.
Next in line
Lissummon sharpshooter Steven Matthews is just behind McCormack in our leaderboard. Although he didn’t add to his tally last weekend because his side were already through.
He did however top score for Lissummon in all three of their group games. Matthews has reeled off 1-21 in three outings.
Clady’s Liam Doyle is in third place having racked up 0-18 in the championship. Although Clady did exit the competition at the hands of Ballyhegan last weekend.
Dorsey also crashed out of the championship, but Aidan Mackin and Michael McVerry put in two fine shifts.
They finished the campaign as top scorers for Dorsey with Mackin claiming 0-16 while McVerry hit 0-15.

Mark Donnelly has been in great goal scoring form at full forward for An Port Mor. He has hit 4-3 in the championship and rattled the net as they overcame Collegeland.
Caolan Laverty (Killeavy IIs) and Jason Kelly (Collegeland) are both joint in the list on 2-8 each.
Ethan McKenna (Clann Eireann IIs) and Chirs McDonald (Ballyhegan) are also joint. They’ve both hit 3-4.
O’Hanlon’s were knocked out during the group stages, but Adam Canavan remains in our leaderboard having hit 1-10.
