2023 Senior Team of the Year – Midfielders

It’s time to vote for the players that you think deserve a place in the 2023 The Sideline Eye Senior Team of the Year.

Six players have been nominated for the middle of the field. Vote for the two midfielders you think deserves a place on the team.

The voting polls will close at midnight on Sunday and the team will be announced next Monday.

Oisin O’Neill (Crossmaglen)

After missing out on Crossmaglen’s championship campaign last season, O’Neill more than made up for it.

He was in brilliant form right throughout the championship and Armagh fans will be excited to see him back in the orange and white.

Shane McPartlan (Clan na Gael)

McPartlan was the top scorer in the Senior Championship and played a huge role in getting Clans to the county final.

He netted in his first four goals of the campaign and carried a huge threat throughout. McPartlan finished the year with 4-31.

Conor McConville (Clann Eireann)

Goes about his business quietly but McConville is one of the key men in the Clann Eireann team.

The Clann Eireann captain gave some brilliant displays throughout the championship as they reached the last four.

Patrick Carr (Madden)

One of a number of youngsters that have made Madden genuine contenders for the Gerry Fagan Cup.

Carr had a number of great performances around the middle of the field for Madden and participated stood up in the absence of Niall Grimley.

Tadgh Grimley (Armagh Harps)

The youngster starred at centerfield for Pascal Canavan’s side as they reached the last eight of the championship.

His fielding ability and willingness to drive forward make him difficult to mark and Grimley has a bright future ahead of him.

Kieran Toner (Granemore)

The old day for the hard road, Toner was sensational in Granemore’s dramatic comeback against Silverbridge.

While it wasn’t enough to get over the line, Toner left his all on the field that day with a heroic performance.
