Another clean sheet for Hughes, his kickouts offered a huge attacking platform for Armagh.

Picked up Shane McGuigan and won the dual, even getting up to fist over a point himself.

Aaron McKay

Rock solid as usually for an Armagh defence that held out the Derry forward line.

Spent most of his time on the sidelines as a blood sub but did return to the action late on.

Brings so much pace and energy to the Armagh team, McElroy gave another fine display.

Stefan Campbell

Campbell had some good flashes in the game but has had better showings this season.

His pace is absolutely frightening. Conaty finished with 0-2 to his name and should have had a goal as well.

Grimley was simply superb for a man that hasn’t played championship football in two years, kicked a point as well.

Conor Turbitt

Top scored for Armagh on the day with 1-4 and took his first half goal with impressive ease.

Ross McQuillan

Made a lasting impact as a blood sub, kicking Armagh’s first goal and assisting their third.
