Division 3A & 3B Match Reports – Week 11

Division 3A Round up

Forkhill are now out in front at the top of the Division 3A league table as they saw off An Port Mor on Friday night. The game finished 2-20 to 2-9, with Cormac Kieran grabbing both goals for the visitors.

Collegeland picked up a one-point victory at home to Middletown, thanks to three goals on the night. Shane Donnelly, Bartley Finnegan and Aidy Trainor all raised green flags in their 3-5 to 0-9 victory.

Lissummon saw out a one-point away day win over Eire Og, sneaking over the line with a 2-14 to 2-13 win. Chris Larkin and Kevin Breen both raised green flags on the night for the Craigavon men.

Paudi Rogers hit 1-2 while Michael McCaffery also rattled the net for Lissummon. Tom O’Hagan finished with 0-6. Peter Quinn and Darren Hughes kicked 0-2 apiece while Shane Mackin and Conor Meehan also got on the scoresheet.

Ballyhegan got back to winning ways on Friday night as they defeated St Michael’s by five-points, 1-15 to 0-13. James McCormack slotted home the all-important three-pointer for Ballyhegan.

Division 3B Round up

Redmond O’Hanlon’s were victorious at home to St Peter’s IIs on Friday night, winning the first game of the new Division 3B1 league. The two sides played out an entertaining affair, with O’Hanlon’s edging it by three-points.

There were five goals score on the night and Redmond O’Hanlon’s were responsible for three of them. Mattie Taylor, Daragh McNulty and Adam Canavan all rattled the net in their 3-12 to 2-12 win.

Clady netted five times as they saw off Killean away from home on Friday night by 17-points. Colm Savage claimed a hat-trick of goals while Malachy Savage and Ciaran Savage also raised green flags in their 5-14 to 2-6 win.
