Hughes picked up another clean sheet and guarded Armagh’s square brilliantly throughout the game.

Picked up Shane Walsh and kept the Galway sharpshooter quiet for long periods of the contest.

Fired his body in to earn a really good turnover and the Dromintee man had a solid afternoon.

McGrane could have scored early in the second half. He got blocked down and was replaced late on.

Ciaran Higgins

Thrown in for his first championship outing of the year, Higgins was substituted at half time.

Tiernan Kelly

Two big moments from Kelly turned the game. He rattled the net before setting up an equalising score.

Aidan Forker

Forker got his hands on plenty of possession before he was taken off late on for Aidan Nugent.

Came into the game more after the turnaround and gave a good display from midfield.

Kicked a point in the first half when it was score for score and could have added a second.

Brought plenty of energy to the Armagh attack and was unlucky not to earn a free at one stage.

Couldn’t really get a proper run at the Galway defence and Conaty was replaced in the second half.
