The Armagh Camogie Senior and Intermediate Championship finals take place at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds on Saturday.
Derrynoose v Tullysaran – Sat 18 Oct – 1pm – BOX-IT Athletic Grounds
Derrynoose and Tullysaran are vying for Intermediate gold on Saturday in what should be an exciting game. Tullysaran competed in the Premier Division in the league, while Derrynoose operated in Division One.
Derrynoose were five-point winners over Cullyhanna in the quarter-final, seeing them qualify for the last four. There, they overcame Mullaghbawn in the semi-final with five-points to spare, setting up Saturday’s showdown.
Armagh star Sinead Quinn is their go-to player in the forward line. She was in outstanding form for the Orchard County in their run to the All-Ireland final this season, where they came up short against Laois.
Ciara Breen leads the team from centre half back while Maeve Lennon and Caoimhe McNally have county experience, being members of the Armagh ladies team. Manager Paul Monaghan won the Intermediate Championship with Crossmaglen in 2023.
Tullysaran edged out Madden in their last eight meeting before seeing off rivals An Port Mor in the semi-finals. Like their opponents this weekend, they also have plenty of inter-county experience as well.
Armagh’s Eimear Hayes is the joint-captain of the Tullysaran team along with full back Laoise Mackle. Katie Convie is also a key member of the Orchard County team and an Irish News All-Star nominee, as is Derrynoose’s Sinead Quinn.

Granemore v Crossmaglen – Sat 18 Oct – 3.30pm – BOX-IT Athletic Grounds
Granemore are on the charge for four in a row and face a fresh challenge to defend their title this year. The past number of years, they’ve battled it out with rivals Ballymacnab in the decider but Crossmaglen have come good this year.
Two years ago when Granemore won the Junior A All-Ireland title, Crossmaglen competed in the Junior B decider on the exact same day. The Rangers have been building quite nicely over the last few seasons.
Granemore are the team to beat though and they backbone the Armagh team that reached the All-Ireland final this year. Ciarrai Devlin guards the goals for Granemore and she had a super campaign in the orange and white.

Armagh captain Ciara Hill is a star player for her club, as is Granemore skipper Grainne McWilliams and vice captain Jordan Carr. The inside trio of Fiadhna Loughran, Corinna Doyle and Rachael Merry have the potential to rack up huge scores.
Crossmaglen ousted Ballymacnab at the semi-final stage and will be eyeing up another upset on Saturday. They are led by captain Riona McConville, who is the heartbeat of the defence at full back.
They also have a number of dual players that played in the Ladies SFC final, but lost to Clann Eireann. They have Armagh Ladies star Lauren McConville, as well as Megan O’Callaghan, to call upon in their forward line.
